The art practice of Kostas Pappas, through his drawings, breaches our relationship with the flow of time and the stability of space. In But no sleep runs this deep, which introduces us to a new series of drawings, the boundaries between natural and imaginary space are ruptured; elements and shapes transform, they float, they infiltrate, they collide and ultimately they coexist, within compositions that function as traps for the gaze. Fragments of rural landscapes cohabitate with architectural elements in a spatial formulation that seems to claim that the world consists of uncertain boundaries and imaginary structures that make up a suspended land.

Η καλλιτεχνική πρακτική του Κώστα Παππά, μέσω των σχεδίων του, διαρρηγνύει τη σχέση μας με την ροή του χρόνου και την σταθερότητα του χώρου. Στοιχεία και σχήματα αιωρούνται, διεισδύουν, συγκρούονται και εν τέλη συνυπάρχουν μέσα σε συνθέσεις που λειτουργούν σαν παγίδες του βλέμματος σε μια πρόσκληση εξερεύνησης. Θραύσματα τοπίων της υπαίθρου συμβιώνουν με αρχιτεκτονικά στοιχεία που μοιάζουν να υποστηρίζουν πως ο κόσμος αποτελείται από νοητικές κατασκευές που οργανώνουν έναν τόπο μετέωρο.
